Once of the really nice things about the ornament punch is that you don’t have to use it just on the coordinating set in the mini.  These are two more cards from my annual Holiday Card class.

On the card on the left, we started by stamping the flower image from the Gifts of Christmas set (my VERY favorite set) using white CRAFT ink on Pretty in Pink cardstock and Regal Rose cardstock.  These were embossed using white embossing powder, punched out and then punched around the edges.  To make the tops of the ornament, just put the top of the punch in some brushed silver cardstock.  A silver brad was added to the top around the silver cord.  These are layered onto a piece of the Brides Specialty paper, Regal Rose and then Pretty in Pink card base.  Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped in Basic Grey on Pretty in Pink and punch out using the Modern Label punch (another GREAT punch!)

For the second card my friend Jackie had noticed how the punched worked with the flocked paper from the Christmas Cocoa dsp.  That made two of the ornaments.  For the third ornament, we embossed the Merry Christmas from the All Holidays set using white embossing powder and punched out using the ornament punch.  The base of the card is Confetti white.  Another piece of the Christmas Cocoa dsp is layered onto a piece of Real Red.  The ornaments are then added to that layer before putting it onto the card front.  Finally a piece of Real Red was punched using the eyelet border punch and then the card front.

So there you have two more Christmas cards using the ornament punch.  Yep..you guessed it…stay tuned for more!  Happy Stampin’!
