Tour de Freaks - September
Just a reminder…this hop goes LIVE Sunday, Sept 20th at 8 am. If you are visiting before that time, not all of the links may be live!
Welcome…welcome…welcome..EVERYONE to the September Tour de Freaks. I just couldn’t wait to be able to share these projects with you! Okay…honestly…I think I made them back in beginning of August! Oh…I do LOVE working ahead. Anyway…I hope you are enjoying all the wonderful ideas and here are mine.
If you have just arrived from my friend Connie’s Blog Inkspired Treasures. If you are going backwards on the hop. Click HERE and it will take you to her blog. My first project is this ADORABLE Halloween Tri-shutter card. You can get the directions for this over on Splitcoast Stampers. This is one of those projects where I’d have to like you really ALOT if I were to make this for you! LOL!!! So I must like you all REALLY ALOT! (just don’t be waiting by the mailbox for you own personalized copy…okay?) Instead of doing alot of description on this…I’m just going to show some pictures since you can get the directions elsewhere. My friend Jo let me borrow this set which is when I made this card. (Then I had to go and BUY the set because it was just so darn CUTE!)

So…how much fun is THAT! My next project is an altered recipe box and date book. I just love when I find items that match our colors and can’t wait to do a little tweeking! For these projects I use the colors Really Rust, Taken with Teal, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip and featured the Blossom Party Sizzix die. I was amazed at how easy this was to do. So go find a recipe box and a notebook and make something like this for yourself! The first picture is the plain box I bought followed by the finished ‘altered’ project.

Wow! That card is amazing! I would only send it to someone who would truly appreciate it. Preferably another stamper who would love it, and pet it and keep it forever! Like me!!
