Scenic Season
It’s this just the most BEAUTIFUL set? I do REALLY like…but I don’t own it. SHOCKING!!!! When day when my friends Jo and Jackie were over to stamp, Jo let me use her set and I made this card. Read more about it inside…
This is one of those cards where a picture just doesn’t do it justice! My friend Jo wanted to see how to use the Champagne Mist shimmer paint and I used this stamp to show her. I inked the stamp with Always Artichoke ink. I removed the ink from the little birdie and inked it with the Real Red marker. Next I took a sponge dauber and added the Champagne Mist shimmer paint over the ink. I huffed and stamped onto a piece of confetti white cardstock. In real life it is just GORGEOUS!!!! I rounded the corners and layered onto a piece of Brushed Gold with the corners rounded. I tied a piece of the Red 5/8” grosgrain ribbon around it and then layered it onto an Always Artichoke cardstock. I rounded the corners on this too to make it all match. I just love the beauty and the simplicity of this card.
i really wanted to do an easel card showing the paint but I didn’t have this set. So stay tuned for my next post that has the same basic card only as an easel card and using the Patterned Pines stamp set. Until then Happy Stampin’!
