Razzle Dazzle Memo Holder
Here’s an item we did in my Homemade Gift Class. (The Jingle All the Way Tile was another one from class.) A while back I found these little pink memo holders and just love altering them for gifts. They come with the pink paper inside and it goes so well with our Regal Rose color.
I decided to use the Pink Flamingo dsp was my color combo for this item. So I took a piece of the dsp and layered it onto Whisper White and tied a piece of 1/4 Tempting Turquoise ribbon around it before layering it onto the Real Red. Because the ‘case’ is clear plastic we could only put tape in the little ‘window’ area that we would hide on the other side. The main image from the Razzle Dazzle set is inked using Real Red, Summer Sun and Tempting Turquoise markers. I think it kind of makes it look ‘Pennsylvania Dutch’. I then punched it out using the 1 3/4” punch and layered it onto a Chocolate Chip scallop circle from the Pennant Die. It’s good dream is stamped using Chocolate Chip onto Summer Sun paper and punched using the Word Window punch and layered onto a Real Red Modern Label punch.
Now on the top of the ‘original’ item is a ‘princess crown’ sticker (really QUITE ugly!) in the middle of the top. To cover that up, and to hide the tape holding the decorations on the top, we added a monogram on the inside. Our initial from the Lovely Letters was stamped on Whisper White using Real Red ink. This is punched out using the Curly Label punch and Tempting Turquoise is sponged around the edges. This is layered onto a piece of Summer Sun with the corners rounded. I like the little ‘personalized’ touch with putting an initial on the inside of the lid and the curly label punch fits inside so well.
School is officially OVER today! I had the last of my student presentations and now for a couple days of rest (oh…and cleaning and cooking). Hope you all are ready for the start of the holiday season! I just LOVE to decorate my house…hmmm…somehow I think maybe a Christmas tree and Bandit might NOT be a good holiday combination! LOL!!! Until next time…happy stampin’!

Neat project! And I am sorry to have missed your gift card class—I seriously wanted to sign up. I am not going to risk putting up a tree again this year either. Phoebe is just too rowdy…and big The sacrifices we make for our pooches!
