The Control Freak team decided to take the month of December off so everyone could get their projects done for family and friends!  We will start back up in January on the 20th with fabulous Valentine idea.  I had already had mine done (remember the snowflake ornament from the other day) and here’s another project that I did for the hop.  Look inside to see this before it was decorated.

Here’s what it looked like when I bought it.  I really liked the little snowman and decided it would be fun to alter it from there.  First I added the words.  “Let it” is done using the Billboard Decorative Strip from Kraft cardstock.  Snow is from Simple Letter die and done in Ruby Red cardstock.  The snowflakes on the hats were done with Snowflake punch in Brushed Gold, Ruby Red and Old Olive.  I added numerous snowflakes in white either from the Snowflake punch or Merry Details embosslit (from the Holiday mini).  There are done in Whisper white.  For the centers of the snowflakes I removed the ‘gems’ from the rhinestone brads and just added the gems to the center of the flakes.  Finally I added some half pearls from the Pretties kit.  It’s all finished off with a bow from the Old Olive 1 1/4” striped grosgrain ribbon.
