First…want to remind everyone that Saturday is not only a new Create with Connie and Julie challenge BUT the every delightful Tour de Freak Blog Hop!  You don’t want to miss it…we are featuring the Occasions mini.  Boy…do I have a couple cute things in store for you!  Okay…I do love to do challenges.  As I’ve told you before my favorite is sketch challenges.  SU Connection had a sketch challenge yesterday and I just HAD to join in the fun.  I just LOVE sketches with circles so I had to join in the fun!

This card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.  The base is Gable Green.  I inked the turtle using Green Galore and Bermuda Bay markers, stamped on Whisper White and then cut out.  I inked the Happy Belated Birthday using my Basic Grey marker and stamped on the circle.  Then I layered onto a Basic Grey circle.  I layered the three turtles onto this circle and then added to the card front using dimensionals.  I added three silver brads around the circle.  (That’s a look I like and sometimes forget to do!).  To finished the card off, I tied a Bermuda Bay Polka Dotted ribbon around the card.  I inked two lines of the birthday stamp using the Green Galore and Bermuda Bay marker, stamped on Whisper White, punched with the large oval punch.  It is layered on a Basic Grey scallop oval and added to the front using dimensionals.
