First…did I happen to mention how EXCITED I am to be part of Create with Connie and Julie?  I REALLY, REALLY am!  Don’t forget to head over there and check it out!  It seems like I haven’t stamped in FOREVER and having some problems finding my Mojo so I decided to try my hand at the Mojo Monday challenge.  Check out more details inside…

Now…wouldn’t you say that flower is just about the funnest thing EVER?!!!  I bought this material the other weekend when my sister and dad were in town.  We went down to the Fabric Shack in Waynesville and I saw this quilted fabric and just fell in LOVE with it.  I’ve been seeing folks making flowers using quilted fabric and the Flower Fold Big Shot die and now was the time to give it a try.

I cut a piece of fabric the size of the die and ran it through the machine.  WOW…that was EASY!  There were a couple threads that didn’t cut through but that was no problem at all.  I used the three smallest flowers for this and then put the BIGGEST Pretty in Pink Corduroy button (from the new Occasions Mini) in the center.  I found the crop-a-dile was best for making the hole.  I could do all three flowers at the same time.

The base of the card is Certainly Celery (5 1/4 x 5 1/4).  The Pretty in Pink print is from the NEW Sending Love dsp.  There is a layer of Very Vanilla on the bottom and then I pierced all the way around the edge.  The ribbon is the Brocade Blue 5/8” Grosgrain.  The Basic Black and Old Olive circles are cut with the Circle Scissor cutter.  Oh…and then the final piece of all this is the greeting from the new set Well Scripted.

So…don’t forget to check out Create with Connie and Julie!  I can hardly wait for Preview Week and see what everyone has in store for you!
