This was another major challenge for me.  We were given the color combo of Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Old Olive.  These are the colors in the Welcome Home dsp pack so I decided to use this paper for my project.  We also were using Good Neighbor SAB set this week so I used this for my challenge project this week.  Click to see the individual sections and to find out the winners of last week’s challenge…

First the winners of the weekly Create and Connie and Julie’s challenge.  First place went to Robin Gregor and second place went to Sandra Hansen and third place went to Jeannine Norder.  Everyone who entered did a FANTASTIC job!  Congratulations ladies.  Okay…onto my project for this week’s challenge…

Again…there’s not alot of detail to give on this as I think the pictures do a better job of showing what I did.  The base of each section is a Basic Black Scallop Square (from the clear Scallop Square die).  On each square I used a different dsp print - one in Melon Mambo, one in Pumpkin Pie, one in Crushed Curry and the final one in Old Olive.  I used the large Serif alphabet die and cut out the letters from Basic Black and added these to the scallope squares.  I stamped all the houses and trees using Basic Black ink and stamped on various papers from the pack.  I cut these all out and added to each panel.  To finish off my 3D item I used pieces of medium window sheet to attach the panels together and covered the backs with another Basic Black Scallop Square to hide the pieces.

So here’s the pictures of each panel…

Oh…one final note…the clouds are just cut from one of the paper designs.  I thought it added a nice touch!  Happy Stampin’!
