image   Please stand by on my additional pictures.  I'm using a new html editor and it seems to be having some problems!  Each week we have a theme and this week was the I {Heart} Hearts set and corduroy buttons (from the mini). One of my favorite things to do is to wheel across designer series paper with a jumbo wheel and that is what I did here. For this though I decided to use Chocolate Chip CRAFT ink and emboss using Iridescent Ice embossing powder. I cleaned off the wheel and then used my Real Red CRAFT spot to just do the heart and emboss it with the Iridescent Ice ep and cut it out and layer it using a dimensional. With this strip I then added a Scallop Trim (SAB punch) Chocolate Chip piece along the bottom and before I layered that onto the Whisper White card base, I layered a strip of Real Red to help set off the scallop! Next I tied some of the wonderful NEW Real Red 5/8" sating ribbon around the piece. Now to move on to the medallion... image The scallop circle is from the Pennant die...I just LOVE the scallops on that! I punched a heart using the Full Heart punch from the Sending Love and sponged around the edges using Chocolate Chip. I stamped the three heart image using Real Red CRAFT ink and embossed with the Iridescent Ice ep again then punched using the 3 heart punch. I added the two larger hearts to the medallion and then added a corduroy button tied with linen thread. To make the greeting I went back to my jumbo wheel and inked using Chocolate Chip marker, wheeled onto paper and then punched using the modern label punch. I added the smallest heart from the 3 heart punch. When I added the label, I used a pop-up glue dot to give it that 'curvy' look. You want to make sure you head over to Create to see what everyone else did with the challenge! I'm sure you will be VERY INSPIRED with some FABULOUS Valentine's cards!
