Bright Delights Rub Ons 3
So here is the last card I made using my Bright Delights Rub Ons. This was the card that made me realize that I was using RETIRED PAPER!!! DRAT!!!
Let’s talk super simple! The card base is Kiwi Kiss. I would like to take a moment and let you all know how much I am going to miss Kiwi Kiss. *sigh*...I think we need to give the boot to another color and keep this one (oh…and I’d also like to keep the other five too! *sigh*) Okay…back to the card…the base, as I mentioned is Kiwi Kiss. I cut the circle out using the Circle Scissor cutter (this is the RETIRED Hawaiian Papaya dsp) and used my 3/4” circle punch to make the scallop out of chocolate chip card stock. I put this on the card and then added a piece of the striped dsp (with a little bit of the chocolate chip along the bottom edge). Next I tied of a piece of the chocolate 1/4” grosgrain ribbon around it. The main image is all rub-ons. In fact they are all there together on the paper so I just cut it out as one piece and put it on some whisper white and layered that onto Chocolate Chip and then the card front. Now…how easy can THAT be!
So…that’s the story of my rub on class that isn’t. I’m hoping for some great new rub-ons and maybe, just maybe I can get a class out of those. We’ll see! I told you that I’m going to be participating in a couple blog hops. The first one is June 12th and I’ll be featuring the Independence Day set that is retiring. I have been working on my things for that and can hardly wait to share! The other I have to get started on. I had something FANTASTIC made for it and then they ended up NOT retiring the set I used. Oh well…back to the drawing board!
Stay tuned! Hope you are enjoying your weekend. We did a little 10 mile bike ride yesterday. What a great day to ride! Happy Stampin’!
