and a sneak peek of NEW STUFF!!!!  Okay…first I need to warn you that you all are going to be seeing ALOT of the Sweet Pea DSP.  I LOVE this stuff!  I LOVE the colors…they are just so rich and different together!  So..consider this fair warning.  My friend Lisa and I had a little time to play and she wanted to do this sketch so I played along…GREAT sketch!

Don’t these colors just pop together?  I LOVE ‘em!  The base of the card is Rose Red.  The crazy circle print is one from the Sweet Pea (let me tell you…this is 24…yep 24 different designs…2 sheets each!) and was my inspiration for the the color.  This is layered onto Chocolate Chip the the card front.  I took a piece of Taken with Teal and sponged the edges in Chocolate Chip (oh…another warning…I’ve been in a sponging mood lately), layered onto the card and then tie some of the NEW Old Olive SATIN ribbon around it!  I stamped happy birthday from the NEW Well Scripted set (fun…sooo fun) using Taken with Teal and Chocolate Chip markers and layered onto Chocolate Chip and then the card front.  Oh…I do love butterflies and the NEW Beautiful Wings Embosslit is just soooooooo wonderful!  I did So Saffron, Chocolate Chip, Taken with Teal, and Rose Red butterflies, sponged the edges and added them to the card to finish it off.

Rand and I are going to go see Avatar today.  We got our tickets the other day.  After that (or maybe before…you never know with us) we are going to Mimi’s for dinner.  We went there one other time and it was nice.  Can’t wait to see the movie…it should be AMAZING!  But…until we go…it’s back to the stamping table for me…have a project half done and want to finish it up!
