Abundant Hope 2
I designed this card awhile back and was going to use this for a class but didn’t end up using it. I just LOVE this sketch…it was one I found on a challenge awhile back and thought it was just wonderful! I used this same sketch for this card here. It really is just a GREAT layout. Two totally different looks between these cards. Read more about it inside.
The base of this 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 card is Very Vanilla. I took a piece of Pretty in Pink and stamped a design in Pretty in Pink on top of it. Next I took a piece of the heavy window sheet and ran it through the Finial Press Embossing Folder. I then layered this on top of a piece of Certainly Celery and then the Pretty in Pink layer. I wrapped a piece of the Very Vanilla 5/8” Satin ribbon around the piece. I made the bow by folding over a piece of the ribbon and putting it between the prongs of a Pretty in Pink Corduroy button and then put it through all the layers (not the base)
So next I took the pretty daffodil image and stamped it onto Watercolor paper using StazOn Jet Black ink (the best for watercoloring). I’m usually not all that good with watercoloring but thought I would use my Watercolor Wonder Crayons (which I do LOVE but haven’t used much!). I used the Regal Rose and Garden Green crayons to color in the image using my Aqua Painter. I love the shading you can get with the crayons and the aqua painter. I layered this onto a piece of Regal Rose and then the card front.
I’ve really been into my Teeny Tiny Wishes set. I love how it works so well with the Word Window punch and then onto the Modern Label punch. So I stamped the greeting onto a piece of Very Vanilla using the StazOn Jet Black again. I punched out and layered onto a Garden Green Modern Label punch. Okay…I’m REALLY attached to my Beautiful Wings Emblosslit die (in case you didn’t notice this) so to finish off my card I did the butterflies in Pretty in Pink and added them around the greeting. What a great card to let someone know you were thinking of them!
This is such a pretty set! I resisted (okay NOT for a very long time) getting it when I first saw it but now am glad I did. I just LOVE pink daffodils…don’t you? Happy Stampin’!

I think this card is beautiful. Was trying to figure out a way to use this set in my class. I am going to change it some but I got an idea. I love those colors together.
Thanks
