Every Sunday Karen Giron does a Sweet Sunday Sketch.  I always LOVE her sketches…they tend to not be real ‘fussy’ so right up my alley!  When I saw the one for this week…I just HAD to play along.  Here’s what I did…

Right now I’m REALLY into pink daffodils so that is what I decided to go with on this one.  The base of the card is Pretty in Pink that I put through the polka dotted embossing folder (LOVE IT!!).  I took a piece of Very Vanilla and added Basic Grey Scallops using the Scallop Trim punch. Next I picked a celery design from the Shades of Spring dsp and rounded the corners and sponged around the edges using Certainly Celery.  I added this to the Very Vanilla.  I cut a circle from the watercolor paper using the circle scissors cutter and matted it onto a slight bigger Basic Grey circle (using the scissor cutter). I used the larger scallop circle from the Scallop Circle #2 die in Regal Rose.  I pierced the petals and then sponged some Regal Rose around the edges.  I stamped the daffodils using StazOn Jet Black and colored using watercolor wonder crayons and an AquaPainter.

I folded over a piece of Certainly Celery 5/8” Satin Ribbon and made it into a bow using a Pretty in Pink Epoxy brad.  Finally I stamped the tag image using Basic Grey on Very Vanilla and then a leaf image (stamped off once) using Certainly Celery and friends using Regal Rose.  I punch out with the jewerly tag punch, added some white embroidery floss and tied around the bow.

I sort of bought the Ting Tags set as an afterthought (and because I bought the punch - LOL!!!) but I like these little images when your project needs ‘just a little something’.  That really describes this set!
