Welcome everyone to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge!  Don’t you just LVE doing challenges?  You all know that I do!  This week we have a GREAT sketch challenge for you!  Don’t you want to join along?

How’s that for a FUN sketch?  Lots going on in the sketch that you can use.  It’s funny sometimes when I see a sketch I will immediate think of a stamp set (well…and sometimes I struggle and struggle and struggle trying to figure out what the HECK would be a good set for the sketch - LOL!!!).  Now the funny thing about this sketch and the set…check out the Create with Connie and Mary site to see what the design team came up with!

Okay…on to my card…

The base of the card is Old Olive.  Next I took a piece of the Old Olive ‘spooky’ dsp from the Halloween dsp and layered it onto some Basic Black.  Next I took a piece of the vellum cardstock, layered it on the front and added some of the Basic Black 1/8” Taffeta ribbon for the strips in the sketch.  This is layered onto the card front.  Next I took a piece of the Tangerine striped dsp and layered that onto the card front.  I added some pieces from the black rhinestone flourish on the sides.  Next I stamped the witches feet (using markers to ink it) and the witch’s hat using Basic Black, colored and cut out.  I stamped the ‘spooky’ using Basic Black on Tangerine Tango, punched with the large oval punch and layered onto an Old Olive Scallop Oval.  These pieces are all layered onto the Tangerine dsp panel.
