Happy Freaky September!  WOOO HOOOO….it’s time for another monthly Freak Tour Hop!  Thanks for stopping by…sooooo much inspiration on our hop!  If you are going forward on the hop, you have arrived here from my friend Connie Babbert.  Wasn’t her pumpkin fence just the CUTEST???  Today we are serving up that Fall feel and I’ve decided to give you some Halloween inspiration.  So without further adieu…

First the tree…(cause I KNOW I’ll get questions about this) I bought several years ago at a ‘big box store’.  The good news…that same ‘big box store’ has them again this Halloween Holiday season.  So if you want one…better head on out now to get one.  I added the berry garland to give it a little more color.

Okay…my inspiration for you is the two treat holders that I have hanging from my tree.  I just thought it would be cute to display them on a tree…LOL!!!  These are made using both of the tags in the Two Tags Die…LOVE that die!

For my first one I used the bookmark diecut.  Do you ever want to do a little treat but need like a MILLION of them?  Well…here’s the perfect idea for you.  These go together so quickly and can be easily adapted for ANY occasion.  I love how the scallop circle layers onto the top of this die.  I’ve been doing these at my workshops this month and everyone really likes how it’s one of the fast but cute projects!  They hold a Dove Chocolate PERFECTLY!

Oh…I will be putting up a quick tutorial on each of these.  Right now my plan is to do it this weekend so check back then!

Now this one uses the tag die.  In order to make the treat holder work (this holds a ghiradelli chocolate) I had to add a piece to the front.  I also needed that piece so that I could use this image on my treat…LOL.  These do take longer to make than the bookmark one and we KNOW these chocolates aren’t cheap…so you’d want to save this for someone a little special!

Aren’t these just fun?  I didn’t really think I’d like the Dark and Dreary set but have found that it is a cool Halloween one and easy to use.  I like that you can ink just the Happy Halloween 31 with a marker and use your Wide Oval punch…fits PERFECTLY!

Okay…so that’s my contribution to this month’s hop.  Time for you to head on over to Deb Currier’s blog for lots of GREAT inspiration.  Click on the picture below to take you there.

Until next time (and remember to stop back this weekend for my mini tutorial)...HAPPY STAMPIN’!
