Welcome to the February Tour de Freaks Blog Hop!  If you are going forward through the hop you arrived here from my friend (and as you will soon find out my inspiration for this month’s projects) Connie Babbert of Inkspired Treasures.  Didn’t you just LOVE her gumball theme? CUTE!

Okay…first the inspiration (or should I say Inkspiration) for my challenge.  Back at the end of January, my friend Connie (Babbert - Inkspired Treasures) shared a CUTE favor (I’ll link to that once the hop is over) using the cupcake set in the colors Baja Breeze, Regal Rose and Rose Red.  I SOOO totally fell in love with those colors that I made this card (based on her cupcake and colors) that I’ve been using as one of my mnts this month. Isn’t it so TOTALLY fun…LOVE IT!  Anyway the base if Pink Pirouette and the ‘tag’ is the bookmark from the two tags die (one of my favoritist dies in the whole wide world).  Also, back during a recent SU sale, I purchased the Table Setting die.  Now I hadn’t used it yet, so with my cupcake, my die and set of colors, I set off to create a couple quick and easy favors for you!

Up first pairs the Table Setting die with the Fancy Favor die (LOVE that little treat holder).  I wanted it to be something quick and easy to the box is done in Pink Pirouette.  I then too the long piece from the Table Setting Die in Regal Rose, folded it in have, put over the top and secured in place with a brad (so it could be opened without ripping that little puppy apart!).  You can’t see the brad because it is hidden under the white piece (also from the table setting die).  Now you could ‘fancy up’ this treat holder more if you wanted to, but for a quick and easy favor, it really is nice and would hold quite a few treats!

So here another quick one favor that holds a ghiradelli chocolate (I picked the raspberry one because the wrapper matched my project…LOL!!!).  Take that long piece around, in Pink Pirouette, fold at the last ‘bump’ (when you see the piece, that actually makes sense).  I did around a 3/8” fold so that the chocolate would fit down there nicely.  I wrapped a piece of Rose Red Seam binding around it, hiding the ends under my cupcake, so that my chocolate would fall out!  I added one of my infamous ‘bows’ (check back for link to my tutorial or click on pretty much any recent card in my gallery that has a bow and it will take you there) from Baja Breeze Seam Binding and an incolor glitter brad.  This finishes it off at the top.  CUTE!

And finally the EASIEST favor of them all!  Take the long piece in Pink Pirourette, run through the polka dotted folder, folder in half, add your chocolate and close it off on the bottom with one of my ‘bows’.  Boy…you could probably make a million of these in absolutely NO time AT ALL!!!  would THAT be GREAT!

So there you have my card and collection of treat holders inspired by my friend Connie’s favor!  I just LOVE how that works!  LOL!!!

Okay…so that’s it for me and it’s time for you to move on.  Oh my word Lisa Young has some FABULOUS ideas for you so don’t delay…click the button below!
