Happy April everyone and welcome to this month’s Tour de Freaks!  I just love seeing all the projects the Freaks come up with!  If you are going forward through the hop, you just arrived from my friend Connie Babbert.  Take a look at what I did for our flower theme this month.

Once before I mentioned how I didn’t think much of the Stitched Felt Sweet Pea flowers when I first saw them in the mini.  Now here we are at the end of this mini and I just LOVE these things and will be sad to see them go.  This project is a special on my customers will be doing in a couple days.  Can’t wait for everyone to make theirs.

To design these cards I decided to use Pretty in Pink and Rose Red along with the Sending Love dsp.  Even though that dsp uses Real Red instead of the Rose Red, I found when I used the non-glittery side of dsp it worked really well with Rose Red and the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Flowers.  I also wanted to use some of the other products in the Occasions Mini and used the Hugs and Kisses Sending Love Notes.  Two cards feature the Kisses and two cards (and the box) uses the Hugs.  Now I do know that a couple of the sentiments are in the SAB Whimsical Words set but you can substitute any greeting on these.

All of the cards fit into a modified matchbox box designed to hold full size cards.  The slider box is made from Pretty in Pink and the cover in Rose Red.  I do like making box sets of cards.  The entire set took about a half of the felt flowers kit.  Between the Think Spring frame I made and this set I must say I have totally changed my mind on this product!  I LOVE ‘EM!!!!!  How about you?  You LOVE ‘EM too!  It’s so hard to believe that the Occasions Mini is just about over!  I have had so much fun with all the different products.  I hope you have too!
