Printed Petals 5
Hello everyone and welcome to the Diva Coffee Break Challenge! Today the team has a really fun sketch for you! Now this might look a little familiar to some of you…it is based on a card I had made once before just I just LOVE doing the flower this way and using the ribbon as the leaves.

Do you feel like you are seeing doubles? Did you notice how much my Monday Technostamper card sketch is like this one? That is pretty funny that they ended up in the same week! I had already done this one before I got the sketch for Technostamper so I had to really work to make my Monday one different! Okay…just a couple details on this. Gotta get busy…tomorrow is my first day of classes for the Fall Quarter!
I used the Clear Scallop Square die to make the base of the card. The actual card is a folded scallop square with an additional FULL scallop square layered on top. (I like the full square look!) The base is Perfect Plum. I took a piece of Whisper White and ran it through the Elegant Lines Embossing folder and layered it on a piece of Old Olive. I did the flower in Perfect Plum and added one of the BIG buttons from the Candy Cane buttons in the Holiday mini and tied it one using White Taffeta Ribbon. I used Old Olive 1 1/4” Striped Grosgrain Ribbon folded over for the ‘leaves’. Okay you need to use lots of dimensionals and sticky strip to get this all to stick! I inked the greeting using Old Olive, Perfect Plum and Marina Mist markers, stamped on Whisper White, layered onto Marina Mist and then the card front using LOTS of dimensionals! So really that is all there is to this card…overall a quick card!
Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
