Happy Sunday everyone!  It is a bit of a grey day here in Xenia, Ohio so when I saw Stacey’s bright and happy Curtain Call colors, I figured it was just what the day needed.  I received this stamp free from SU because of my sales this year and have been having a great time working on samples for a class with it.

I really liked the sketch today on the Sweet Sunday Sketch so I decided to pair these two up for a very bright and happy card (on a dreary Ohio day!)

The base of the card is Daffodil Delight.  I decided to use a couple of the prints from the Pawsitively Prints 2 dsp since it had the Poppy Parade and Tempting Turquoise in there.  The Poppy gingham is layered onto a piece of Poppy Parade and then the card front.  Next I took the Tempting Turquoise print, rounded the corners and added that the card front.  Next I punched a 2 1/2 circle (using the NEW punch coming out in the Holiday mini) and added balloons in the Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade and Tempting Turquoise.  I used the coordinating markers to draw the strings.  These are layered onto the circle and then to the card front using dimensionals.  Some turquoise brads are added for a little extra accent and a knot from the Poppy Parade Twill is added to the bottom of the card.  I stamped the Happy Birthday from using Basic Grey ink.

Hope you all have a GREAT day!  Stop by tomorrow…until then…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
