Love & Care
I am SOOOOO excited that I earned this Level 2 Hostess set! I have wanted it ever since I saw the Summer Mini and finally I get to play with it. I decided it was the PERFECT set for the Stamping 411 sketch challenge and the Just Add Ink Color Challenge and also the SUO Challenge for May Flowers.

Aren’t these both GREAT! And since I used a flower, I just couldn’t resist the SUO Challenge too! The base of the card is Perfect Plum. I took the Pear Pizzazz print from the Paisley Petals dsp (sneak peek last month) and the Baja Breeze is from the Elegant Soiree dsp. I layered these together and then wrapped a piece of the Baja Breeze Seam Binding around it then added to the card front. Next I took a piece of the Perfect Plum and ran it through the Lattice Square Embossing folder and then added to the card front using dimensionals. I inked the flower using Baja Breeze, Perfect Plum and Pear Pizzazz markers and stamped on Whisper White…did this twice. Stamped the greeting using Perfect Plum and layered onto Perfect Plum. I made a double ‘bow’ (click here for my tutorial) using Baja Breeze Seam Binding and a Pear Pizzazz Glitter Brad (these are STILL available!)...added to the panel. This is then added to the card front.
Now isn’t that just a quick and easy card! I just love these colors together…one of my FAVORITE color combos!
Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!

This card is absolutely adorable. I just watched a video today on how to do one of those cute bows and have bookmarked your step by step photo tutorial to refer to at a later date. I love how you have combined all the challenges together to make this beautiful card. I’d be happy to get that stamp set for free too. Thanks for joining in with the colour challenge at Just Add Ink.

Hi Mary! Followed you from JAI—love what you’ve made with these colors. They look fabulous with this stamp and I love how the sentiment is over stamped on the flower stems—great layering. You rocked the 411 too! Beautiful card! ((hugs))
