Have you missed me?  Yep…I’ve taken a couple days off.  We’ve been spending some time cleaning the basement and I’ve been working on getting things together for a big event…Operation Write Home!  Those of you who live by me will be hearing more about this in the weeks to come!

Okay…not going to go into alot of details here but this is a simple sketch that I’ve dressed up a bit! Didn’t this turn out pretty?  I love the Lap of Luxury dsp.  I had been playing around trying to do a little watercoloring (don’t faint Jackie!) and had these roses on my desk.  Since they were pink and Lap of Luxury is pink and purple…it was a no brainer for today!

The base of the card is Pink Pirouette.  I took a piece of the Lap of Luxury dsp and layered it onto Concord Crush and mounted it to the card front.  Next I added a piece of Very Vanilla with the corners rounded on the left sit, and stamped for you (from the Level 1 Hostess Set Afterthoughts) in Concord Crush.  Next I tied a piece of the Concord Crush Twill around the card.  I had stamped the flowers using StazOn Black on Watercolor paper and colored in with my Regal Rose marker and my AquaPainter.  These are cut out and attached using dimensionals. 

I wanted to ‘fancy it up’ a little bit so I got out my Basic Pearls and added to the dsp and a few on the Very Vanilla panel.  Then I took the Smooch Illuminate Top Coat and added some on the roses for a little extra sparkle.
