Today is the inspiration challenge over on SCS.  Sometimes when I go through those sites I find lots of inspiration and sometimes…well, not so much!  I guess that is the way it always works.  Well this week there were TONS of inspirations items for me so it took me awhile to narrow it down.

The website is called ModCloth and when I saw these coaster I knew EXACTLY what I was going to do with them.  You can find the coasters and access the site here.  As soon as I saw there I thought of the Extreme Elements set and specifically the big paint splatter stamp that is part of that set.

Just a few quick things on this…the base is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 Whisper White.  The basic black piece is 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 and the individual Whisper White pieces are 2 1/4 x 2 1/4.  All of the pieces have the corners rounded on them.  The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Pacific Point and Real Red.  I tried to stamp the color to sort of match the coaster in the picture.  In the picture you can see the little round ‘feet’ through each coaster and I decided to just add one of the small round itty bitty buttons to one corner of each square (and of course because of my naked button issues, each button is sewn on with a piece with embroidery thread).  The ‘hello’ is actually from the ‘hello baby’ stamp in the Teeny Tiny Wishes set and is punched using the new small oval punch (Holiday Mini).  Everything…and I do mean EVERYTHING is layered using dimensionals.

Well that’s all there is to my card for today!  I hope you all have a GREAT Saturday and until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
