I haven’t done an inspiration challenge on SCS in a couple weeks so as I was looking around the Decade Gifts site this morning I found a couple things that I thought would work.  Then I saw a picture of some yellow gloves and I knew I found my inspiration for the morning.

I was drawn to this picture by both the colors and the overall layout.  I thought those two things together would be good basis for the card.  I liked the long yellow gloves laying on the orange circle and thought I could translate the bottom edge of the gloves into an element with flowers.  You all KNOW how I like making 4 1/4 x 4/14 cards so I started with that.

The base of the card is Natural Ivory…thought that went along good with the photo.  Next I cut a Tangerine Tango circle using the Clear Bigz die.  I stamped the greeting using Basic Black and pierced around the edge.  This is layered onto the the base using dimensionals.  Next I took a piece of Daffodil Delight and stamped the circle images using Pumpkin Pie.  I took a piece of Poppy Paraded and adhered it to the right hand side.  Next I stamped the large flower using Pacific Point and small flowers in Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight.  These are cut out.  The small flowers had brads added to the middle and added using dimensionals.  I took a Pumpkin Pie flower button, added some white embroidery floss and added that using a dimensional.

So what do you think?  I think my card is a pretty good representation of the gloves on the circle!  Until next time…HAPPY STAMPIN’!
