Oh…I do LOVE this set!  When I first saw it in the catalog I wasn’t sure about it but it goes so perfectly with the Autumn Spice dsp so I bought the set.  Anyway…it’s Thursday and time for the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  Today we have a great color challenge for you!

Okay…first I have a confess to make…this is actually my second card for this challenge.  I made one a while back for this and the more I looked at it, the more I didn’t like it.  I mean…it was okay, I guess but I wasn’t really happy with it.  So I finally had another idea for the color combo so did this one and am MUCH happier with the way it turned out!

The base of the card is Crumb Cake.  I took another piece of Crumb Cake and put it through the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder and layered it to the card front using dimensionals.  I took a piece of Very Vanilla and used the eyelet edge punch along the one side.  This is layered onto a piece of Early Espresso.  I tied a piece of Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon around it.  I stamped the greeting using Early Espresso on Crumb Cake and punched out using the Wide Oval punch.  This is layered under the ribbon.  I stamped the leaf in Crumb Cake, Tangerine Tango and Early Espresso and cut these out and layered them onto the Very Vanilla piece.  On the one Tangerine Tango leaf I attached an Early Espresso button using Linen Thread and layered the leaf using dimensionals.  This whole layered to attached to the card front using dimensionals.
