Day of Gratitude 2
This is my second post for today so make sure you check out my Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge! It’s a cutie! Since it is Monday it is also the Clean and Simple challenge on SCS. Today was a sketch challenge. Check inside to see an easy way to make the four pane window!
Okay..let’s start with a quick and easy way to make the window.
I started with a piece of Very Vanilla 3 5/8 x 4 7/8. I then punched out four 1 3/8 square from scrap cardstock using my punch. (You can use any size punch or even any shape!) Use tape to position your squares where you would like them on your Very Vanilla base panel.
Now the only thing left is to take your punch and punch your taped in square out! You don’t have to worry about using temporary tape since you don’t have to removing the cardstock pieces. How’s that for an easy way to make the panel!
Okay…now for some more details. The base of the card is Very Vanilla. I took a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Cajun Craze and layered a 3 1/2 square of Very Vanilla on it. I took my panel that I show you above, stamped the greeting using Early Espresso and made my ribbon bow by folding the Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon and using a Gold Brad to make it into a bow. This panel is layered onto the Cajun Craze/Very Vanilla layer using dimensionals. Finally I stamped the leaf using More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, and Early Espresso, cut these out and attache them inside the ‘windows’ using dimensionals.
So that’s my clean and simple card for the day!

Thanks Mary for this great tip. I don’t do well with a hobby knife, so this is a great way to make the window pains. Plus I love that stamp set too! I feel a case coming on…....
