Happy Saturday everyone!  Well…today is the last day of convention…wish I was there, but it wasn’t meant to be this year.  Instead…I have a card for you based on the inspiration challenge (IC242) on SCS and the Stamping 411 sketch challenge (SSC161)

What I really liked about this piece in the inspiration challenge were blue flowers (I love blue flowers) and then the clear flowers.  I was trying to think how I could do that with my cards and then decided with my Big Shot and the heavy window sheets..this would be a piece of cake!

I wanted to go simple on the colors so I have a Whisper White base, a piece of Whisper White run through the Elegant Lines embossing folder then layered onto Bashful Blue, a Bashful Blue satin ribbon (still available in the summer mini until August 31st!) and then layered onto the cardfront using dimensionals. 

The greeting was stamped with Bashful Blue on Whisper White, punched with the large oval punch and sponged with Bashful Blue.  The flowers are made with the Blossom Party Die.  The blue ones are Bashful Blue with a Whisper White button tied on with white embroidery floss and the clear ones are heavy window sheets with Marina Mist button tied on with white embroidery floss.  Aren’t they just the coolest!  I’m going to have to make more of these clear accents…AWESOME!!!  I added some Bashful Blue and clear dots (like on the earrings) to finish this off.
