Happy Monday…Happy New Holiday Mini…and happy Labor Day!  I hope if you are one of the fortunate people, like me, who don’t have to work today, that you are enjoying your day off!  Since it is Monday…it is time for the Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge!  WOO HOO!  Okay…you are going to HAVE to come back Wednesday and see that sketch and post…you’ll understand when you see it!

Sketch challenges are such fun!  I love seeing a sketch and then trying to figure out what would be a GREAT set to go along with it.  When I started working on this card I actually had thought I was going to use it for a color that will be coming up later…but the more I looked at the card I thought I should use it for this one.  You can always use a little snowman!

How cute is this…even though *gasp*...I had to actually WATERCOLOR!!!  Okay…it wasn’t much…I survived!  The base of the card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 Baja Breeze that I put through the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.  I took a piece of the dotted dsp from the Candy Cane dsp and layered it onto a piece of Real Red.  This is layered onto the card front using dimensionals.  I used the Northern Frost Decorative Strip die to make the snowflakes.  I LOVE these snowflakes but, at least on my die, I have to use the piercing tool to get all the little pieces out!  On the largest one I used the big Blushing Bride button, tied on with a piece of white 3/8” taffeta ribbon, on the largest snowflake.  The little snowman is stamped on whisper white using Basic Grey and colored with Real Red, Garden Green, and Baja Breeze ink.  This is layered onto a piece of Basic Grey and the cardfront using dimensionals.  The extra snow flakes where added.  I inked the greeting using Real Red and Garden Green markers and stamped on Blushing Bride.  This is punched out using the new medium oval punch.  This is layered onto the front using dimensionals.  To finish everything off I added some rhinestones.
